Brief Description
The Europe of Rights Community College took place on August 2nd-11th 2003 at the retreat and group meeting centre Casa Cares in Reggello (Florence).
40 young Europeans attended this Community College exchange, concerning the importance of fundamental human rights for the implementation of intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding in our societies. The Council of Europe’s European Convention on Human Rights and the European Union’s European Charter of Fundamental Rights offered a point of departure for the discussion.
In charge of the Europe of Rights Community College is the ACC Italy Committee. Eva Valvo from the Board together with Marzia Pistolesi, Peter Ciaccio and Silvia Cardi are the members of the Committee.
