Erikas beautiful photography

Erika (Bucharest) has sent a beautiful photo, which was originally taken at the Højskolen Østersøen in summer 1997. It makes Aabenraa look like Africa! The photo has won a prize in a photocompetition, and you can see it right here: http://www.acc.eu.org/Erikas%20photography.htm

This message was received on June 15th from the Fryske Akademy. Maybe some of you can help Danny Beetsma?
" As a part of Mercator-Education the TPEE-project is an inventory of trilingual primary education in Europe. Apart from several case studies, we are looking for situations of which it is not known yet whether there are trilingual primary schools present. Therefore information about those situations is needed. The definition of trilingual primary education used for this project: First, primary schools are considered trilingual if those schools use three different languages for instruction or for learning activities, of which one is at least a minority language.. Second, primary schools are considered trilingual if they are located in a country or region in which the community speaks three languages actively. If you know something about trilingual primary education in your region, I would like to ask you if you could provide us with the following information: * Location of the trilingual primary schools. * The three languages that are taught. * The number of trilingual primary schools. * The number of pupils that receive trilingual primary education. If you can and want to, please add information about the following subjects: * The age at which the pupils are introduced to the first, second and third language. * The teachers and their qualifications. * The time spend on teaching in the first, the second, and the third language. * The teaching/learning materials. Please feel free to add information you consider relevant. You can send the information to: dbeetsma@fa.knaw.nl or the Mercator-Education address. Best regards, Danny Beetsma Mercator-Education Fryske Akademy Doelestraat 8 P.O. Box 54 8900 AB Leeuwarden The Netherlands tel: +31 58 2343064 fax: +31 58 2131409 "
