[15.12.11] European education stakeholders miss lifelong and non-formal learning in the Erasmus for all regulation. A coalition of 30 reply on the EU Commission’s proposal.
Association for Community Colleges (ACC) and another 29 European education stakeholders welcome the idea of the Erasmus for all programme. However, the welcoming is accompanied by critique of the EU commission’s recent regulation proposal.
The coalition’s common press release reflects that the regulation is believed to exclude important key terms. Potentially, the regulation is feared to exclude certain groups of learners and learning purposes.
Erasmus for all will succeed well-known programmes like Youth in Action, Grundtvig, Erasmus and etcetera for the period of 2014-2020.
