Youth2002 schools finally get their money
[15.10.09] The Danish Folk High Schools that took part in the Youth 2002 project have been waiting for seven years for their invested capital to be returned. They will now finally get it.

Each of the Youth2002 schools has had approximately 3.500 EUR at stake since 2002.

The good news emerges from a letter dated October 12th from the Youth2002 auditor, Claus Lykke Jensen, and the Youth2002 chairman, Asbjørn Lyby, to the schools. According to the letter composers the due amount has been in the waiting from EU that finally approved the accounts.

Youth2002 must now be considered finally closed, also from a financial perspective.
